Cecilia Njenga
Head UN Environment Office in South Africa

Cecilia, an Economist/Urban and Regional Planner, has over twenty-five years of progressive work experience in the international sustainable development field, of which 20 years have been with the United Nations. Cecilia’s work has centred on leading country, regional and global programmes on urban/city development, development of small and medium sized businesses, sustainable production and consumption, climate change, biodiversity conservation and promoting partnership building and inter-agency cooperation. During her free time, Cecilia is a lover of classical music, theatre and art.

MICHELLE YORK
Regional Chapter Manager – Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE)

Michelle has more than 15 years of experience in strategy, consulting and policy development in the social investment space. She is the founder of CSI Solutions, a specialist CSI consultancy as well as The CSR Library, a resource platform for CSR practitioners. She initiated and led CSI Connect, a network for developing knowledge, sharing best practices and case studies among practitioners in Africa. Her experience spans from setting up processes, procedures, and strategies to evaluating project impact. She has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Pretoria and an MBA from Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Michelle joined ANDE in July 2016 to assist with Strategic Development of the South African chapter, she is also an advisor to the Bakwena Development Fund and a Director of CSI Solutions.

ELMARIE GOOSEN
Director of Operations, Collective Value Creation (Technical Specialist)

Elmarie has 18 years of experience working in a variety of Blue Chip organisations such as Virgin Media, Vodafone, British Gas and Barclays in Europe and Barclays Africa South Africa. She has in-depth knowledge of Supplier Development and Management, Contract Management and Governance. Elmarie now consults and specifically focuses on getting companies supply-chain ready and understand the needs and challenges faced by procurement and the small businesses when they engage. Her passion is assisting South African SMEs to understand and engage with the end users through customer experience and brand awareness to build relationships.

MAMOSA MOTJOPE
Managing Director – Wamobu Consulting Pty Ltd

Mamosa spent close to five years at the IDC as a financial transactor in the manufacturing sector and has extensive experience with due diligences in marketing, technical and financial for the manufacturing industry. Wamobu Consulting focus on capital raising for emerging businesses on a growth path. In line with her passion of contributing towards the development of entrepreneurs, Mamosa has worked with Fetola which offer ED and SD programmes for companies such as SAB, J.P.Morgan and Old Mutual. She holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and a MBA from Edinburgh Business School, the Graduate School of Business of Heriot-Watt University, UK.

CORNELIA OLIVER
Head of Sourcing Corporate Services – Barclays South Africa

Cornelia currently heads up Sourcing for Marketing, Real Estate, HR and Physical Security in ABSA. She has been with the bank for almost 7 years, during which she has successfully led various areas in sourcing (e.g. Technology, Supplier Management and Supplier Development). She started her career with EY after graduating from UP. She then went on to lead the Sourcing Team in Liberty for a few years before moving to England and working as a consultant with 4C Associates Ltd in industries such as Oil and Gas, Technology, and the Public Sector. She has extensive experience in best practice procurement implementation and in a wide range of indirect categories of spend. Cornelia holds a MCom in Finance with UJ and a MCIPS certification.

CATHERINE WIJNBERG
Director and Founder – Fetola

Catherine is an entrepreneur with many years’ experience across a range of sectors. She has dedicated the past ten years to helping small and growing businesses to succeed, using a holistic people-first philosophy. Many of her innovative methodologies have been adopted as benchmark best practice in South Africa. A licensed paragliding pilot, Catherine’s insight into the real risks required to take one to new heights make her a business leader of note.

Catherine holds a BSc (Hons) Agric from Edinburgh University, a Masters in Agriculture from the University of Queensland in Australia, and an MBA from Henley Business College, UK.

ZOLEKA LISA
Director of Procurement Capabilities and Sustainability – AB-Inbev Africa

Zoleka joined SAB in 2014, where she leads special programmes that support the achievement of Procurement’s business objectives on a global and regional level. This includes driving continuous improvement, sustainability, intra/entrepreneurship and transformation for the Africa Zone. Before this, Zoleka was a Senior Manager in the Accenture Strategy division where she consulted across the consumer goods, retail and energy sectors as well as a few of the SOEs. She was primarily responsible for leading projects requiring strategy development, cost optimisation, business model definition, journey management and procurement transformation.

Zoleka Lisa holds a BSc Environmental and Geographical (UCT), a BSc Hons. in Geography and Environmental Science (Wits). She currently serves on the SABMAS board.
